Rapier Employment are looking for a medical delivery/van driver to support our well-known client based around the Oxfordshire area.
Position: Van Driver
Hours: Start times between 06:00 - 12:00. Finish latest usually by 20:00. Start times are on a rota basis
Days: Friday-Monday or work Saturday, Sunday and 1 other day in the week
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
Overtime: Paid at x1.5 after 37.5 hours worked in the week
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transporting blood and tissue samples between hospitals and surgeries
- Making multiple deliveries a day which are time critical
- Pathology delivery and collections
- Delivering internal mail between different sites
- Making deliveries to easy access sites, as well as surgeries in the middle of nowhere
- Be able to make a decision on where to park/when to contact site or transport for updates
- Be able to work independently as well as a team
Requirements:
- Must have van driving and multi drop experience
- Be able to work to a deadline and update transport if any issues arise on routes
- Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes
- Full UK driving licence
- A DBS check will be required down the line
