Position Overview: A leading manufacturer in the roof window and loft ladder industry is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Service Engineer to join their dynamic service team. This role will be key in providing exceptional customer satisfaction alongside advice on technical/service issues with products. You will work in close collaboration with the Service Manager to resolve various customer issues with our wide range of roof window products. You will be required to attend site visits for faulty/non-working goods, which may entail heavy lifting & working at heights; all training will be provided. There will be occasions where you will be working independently once trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing of products post installation
- Assisting the Sales Team with service queries from customers
- Travelling nationwide for service jobs, which can occur at short notice and sometimes include overnight stays/early starts
- Delivering on exceptional customer experience
- Use of CRM system
- Updating live jobs on the status of repair
Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrics
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of the building industry would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, especially with end users
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office, Excel & PowerPoint
- Have a full clean UK Driving Licence & Valid UK Passport
