Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon.
** Must have held licence for 12 months (category C+E) **
Position
Class 1 Driver
Hours
starts between 00:00-03:00 and 16:00-19:00 some flexibility required.
Pay rate
£17.74-£22.18 ( unsociable hours between 20:00 - 05:00 will have an additional £1.71 uplift)
Shift pattern
Friday to Monday
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
- Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Deliveries from Swindon will be across the South Coast of England up to the Midlands.
- PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, some store overflow deliveries may be required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
- Always provide exceptional customer service.
