Rapier Employment are currently seeking a HGV Technician to work with our local authority for ongoing work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Service and repair HGVs and other Council vehicles
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults
- Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety checks
- Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairs
- Respond to breakdowns and accident-damaged vehicles
- Maintain accurate records and high workshop standards
The ideal candidate:
- Level 3 City and Guilds (or equivalent)
- Full Driving licence minimum category Class 2
- DVSA Inspecting and Testing qualification
Hours + Salary: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. £19.00 - £20.00 ph DOE.
