We are looking for a Part-Time Recruitment Administrator to join our busy Northampton recruitment team. This is an initially temporary position, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. The role will primarily focus on the administration and compliance of our HGV driver workforce, ensuring drivers are correctly booked, records are maintained and all required documentation is kept up to date.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Booking HGV drivers onto shifts and assignments
- Contacting drivers to confirm availability and shift requirements
- Maintaining accurate driver files and records
- Checking and updating driver compliance documentation
- Monitoring expiry dates for licences, CPCs, medicals and other required documentation
- Ensuring driver records are kept fully up to date
- Assisting with the onboarding of new drivers
- Completing and maintaining compliance checks
- Liaising with drivers regarding shifts, start times and assignments
- Assisting with holiday and absence administration
- Supporting the team with daily driver resourcing requirements
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with driver queries
- General office and recruitment administration
- Maintaining accurate spreadsheets and reports
About You
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident speaking to people over the telephone
- Good computer skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Able to maintain accurate records and work to deadlines
- Reliable, professional and organised
- Previous recruitment, transport or compliance administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a busy team
