We are looking for an experienced and organised Fleet Coordinator to join our team on a fixed-term basis until the end of the year, with the potential opportunity to move into a permanent position at the start of 2027.
This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and coordination experience who is confident managing multiple tasks and communicating with a range of stakeholders.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
Location: Based in Peterborough. Please note the business is planning to relocate to Wansford, around September/October, so applicants who can drive are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with transport companies and customers via phone and email
- Coordinating tasks between internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Managing and responding to a high volume of emails and communications
- Supporting day-to-day fleet coordination activities
- Maintaining accurate records and updating spreadsheets using Excel
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or coordination role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident telephone manner and professional email communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
