Class 1 Drivers Required - Ongoing Positions

ROLE INFORMATION:

Rapier Employment is currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a leading retail chain based in Walsall (WS2). You will be engaged in depot to depot trunking or bulk collections. There is no handball involved, and start times will vary. We welcome full-time or occasional drivers. Class 1 Drivers must take an assessment first which is fully paid as long as you pass and complete at least 5 regular shifts. The assessment involves theory and driving assessments. If you are already DHL assessed, you will only need to attend an induction day which is also paid for.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Class 1 PAYE Rates
  • Monday to Sunday Days £18.06 per hour – Overtime @ £27.09 after 8 hours per day
  • Monday to Sunday Nights £19.18 per hour - Overtime @ £28.77 after 8 hours per day

YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

  • Class 1 (C+E) Licence with a minimum of 6 months on the road experience
  • Must have held Class 1 license for at least 1 year
  • No DR10, No CD10’s, No IN10s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
  • UK Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
