Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon. Inductions & assessments available.

Role: Class 1 Driver

Pay: £14.14 - £25.21 per hour

Hours: Start times between 16:00-17:00

Days: Monday-Thursday. Occasional Sunday shifts

Experience: Must have some experience driving Class 1 with a background in HGV2 or PSV.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Making sure the correct amount of parts are loaded onto the vehicle
  • Complete 2-3 runs per day trunking between the Swindon and Oxford site
  • Complete vehicle and trailer checks, recording information internally and reporting any defects
  • Be able to maintain accurate paperwork/electronic records
  • Load trailer in Swindon. MHE training will be provided down the line
