Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot.
** This is a great opportunity for someone who has held their C+E licence for 6 months **
Role: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £17.35 – £19.00 per hour – overtime after 45 hours
Hours: Starts between 11:00 & 18:00
Days: Site operate 24/7. Weekday AND weekend availability needed
Job includes:
Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations
What you\’ll need:
Held C+E licence for 6 months minimum
No more than 6 points on your licence
Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
Available to work weekdays and weekends
Full UK licence, valid CPC card and digital tacho card
