Counterbalance Long Forks FLT Drivers – Castle Bromwich
Ongoing Agency Work - Various Shifts - 40 Hours Per Week
We are recruiting experienced Counterbalance long forks Forklift Truck Drivers for an ongoing logistics assignment based in Castle Bromwich. This is long-term agency work, with the potential for a permanent contract in the future — However, this is not guaranteed.
Shifts patterns:
- Fixed Days: 06:00-14:00 - £15.02
- Fixed Afternoons: 14:00 – 22:00 – £16.28 per hour
- Fixed Nights: 22:00-06:00 - £18.72 per hour
All roles are 40 hours per week with optional overtime depending on site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Counterbalance FLT (long forks) safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles and trailers using long forks
- Checking, tagging and processing items
- Supporting warehouse operations when not required to be on the forks
- Following all site health & safety procedures
Important: This is not a 100% forklift role. All applicants must be willing to carry out warehouse duties. Anyone unwilling to work off the FLT should not apply.
Requirements
- Must have Long Forks FLT driving experience
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence, taken or refreshed within the last 3 years
- Licence must be accredited by one of the following bodies: RTITB, AITT, ABA, ITSSAR
- Good communication and attention to detail
- Must have no unspent convictions
- Must complete a pre-employment interview
- Must pass a Drug & Alcohol test
- Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work the chosen shift
