Rapier Employment are seeking a Transport Night Supervisor to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Oversee and support the performance of drivers to ensure they meet the established Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure all transport operations are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Make necessary changes to daily transport plans if issues arise to ensure smooth operations.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues related to transport operations or coordination with the warehouse to minimize delays and maintain productivity.
- Lead daily briefings and debriefings with drivers to communicate important updates, safety information, and expectations for the shift.
- Manage Driver performance to identify any major discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan.
- Ensure drivers and the fleet comply with all relevant legal, safety, and operational standards, ensuring smooth and lawful operation throughout the shift.
