Rapier Employment are looking for a full time Transport Admin to join our team here in Allington!
Shift Pattern: 03:00 – 11:00 Tuesday to Saturday *Maternity Cover*
Pay Rates:
- 06:00 – 18:00 £12.40ph
- 03:00 – 06:00 £12.62ph
- 18:00 – 00:00 £12.56ph
- OT over 40 hours a week £15.40ph
We are looking for someone that is:

- Good work mannerisms, such as performance, attendance, reliability, attitude, etc.
- IT literate including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Relevant transport admin experience.
Duties include:
- Pre brief all drivers.
- Pre-calling stores for deliveries.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and equipment is issued.
- Ensure completion of all agency staff forms and license checks are complete.
- Monitor drivers’ schedules whilst on route using Microlise and follow appropriate escalation procedures where required.
- Allocating additional / changing work to drivers when required.
- Ensure all traffic systems are kept updated and completed fully.
- Ensure all fleet legal compliance is adhered to including drivers’ hours and defects.
- Communication with warehouse and shunters to assist timely load departure.
- Ensure vehicle and trailer resource is in place for start times.
- Cover debriefs and all associated tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
- Engage positively with the driving staff.
- Completion of KPI reports / spreadsheets.
- Affectively communicate with FLM and shift managers.
- Ability to adapt to a highly changeable environment.
