Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Castle Donnington. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates. Any shift to include a weekend day. This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering to RDCs and stores.
- Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
- Vehicle checks.
Shift patterns:
Days: 04:00 – 09:00 starts £18.75 per hour PAYE. Over time £28.12ph after 43.75 hours.
Nights: 15:00 – 21:00 starts £21.06 per hour PAYE. Over time £31.59ph after 8 hours.
Rates are the same Monday – Sunday.
The ideal candidate:
- You must have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes.
- “Can do” attitude.
- No DR10’s, No CD10’s, No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS.
- Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
