HGV Class 1 Driver - Easy Depot to Depot Trailer Swaps
Start Date: Straight Away
Our Customer: Our long established logistics client based in Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis. They have won a new contract and require Class 1 Drivers, weekly, Monday to Friday, ongoing all year round. Weekend shifts are also available if required.
Job Description: Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving work, box trailers, RDC Trailer swaps, no handballing, timed deliveries, so no messing around on the shifts. Clear communication is required with the transport team.
Various start times available ranging from Days 04:00 am to 08:00 am and Nights from 16:00 pm onwards, priority at this time is the day shifts.
Licence requirements:
- HGV Class 1 Licence
- Up to date CPC for your Class 1
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 1
You Must:
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Be punctual
- Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.)
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
- Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift.
