We are recruiting for an Administrator for our client in Acton Gate near Stafford (ST18).
Role Overview
This role is primarily administrative, involving accurate data entry and maintaining records, with some light call handling responsibilities. You will support the logistics and delivery operations for large-item deliveries across the UK, Scotland, and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Record Management: Update spreadsheets, maintain accurate delivery and order records, and ensure all information is correctly logged.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, documentation, and general office tasks.
- Call Handling: Answer occasional calls from delivery crews and customer service teams to provide information such as order details, directions, and contact numbers.
- Communication: Liaise with depots and distribution centres when required.
- Problem Solving: Investigate order issues and provide solutions promptly.
Working Hours
Full Time Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
Pay
£12.21 per hour.
Duration
Minimum 4 weeks but could be ongoing.
Requirements
- Fully PC literate with basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word).
- Administrative and organisational skills.
- Good telephone manner for occasional call handling.
- Previous experience in administration or customer service preferred.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Own transport or live locally to ST18.
Training
On-the-job training provided by an in-house trainer (approx. 1 week).
