Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
What you'll be doing:
- Organising daily collections and deliveries through a pallet network system
- Supporting driver dispatch in the mornings and afternoons
- Handling booking queries, delivery updates and claims with speed and accuracy
- Liaising with depots, drivers and customers to resolve issues before they become problems
- Keeping digital and paper records accurate (labels, barcodes, invoices, claims)
- Working closely with the warehouse to manage inbound and outbound pallets
- Stepping in to help teammates and keep the operation running like clockwork
What you'll bring:
- Experience in a transport office, traffic desk, or logistics admin environment
- A confident communicator who’s comfortable with drivers, depots and customers alike
- Strong attention to detail
- IT savvy - comfortable with MS Office and ideally Transport Management Systems
- Local knowledge of Oxfordshire and surrounding routes would be a plus
- A calm, practical problem-solver with a sense of humour when things get busy
