Key Responsibilities
- Working safely at all times in compliance with site Health & Safety procedures
- Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others
- Operating within site Personnel Safety Management Systems (PSMS)
- Picking & issuing materials to site
- Storing materials in racking & shelving locations
- Delivering materials to site using a van or forklift truck
- Loading & unloading materials using a forklift truck
- Manning the warehouse service counter
- Goods receipting & processing deliveries
- Data entry into the warehouse management system (SAP) & spreadsheets
- Dispatching materials
- Participating in an on‑call rota for site emergency material requests
- Working additional hours when required to support the customer
- Responding to ad hoc requests from management
What We’re Looking For
- Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills & attention to detail
- IT literate
- Forklift truck experience
- Ability to prioritise workload & work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to take initiative while knowing when to seek support
- A valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (speeding offences only)
