Class 1 Driver

Rapier Employment are on the lookout for Class 1 Drivers to support our well-known client based in Swindon.

** You must have held your Class 1 licence for at least 2 years to be considered **

Role: Class 1 Driver
Pay: £16.85 – £21.00 per hour
Time: 03:00-09:00 starts. Flexibility is required between these times
Shifts: Shifts can vary 10-13 hours. Guaranteed 8 hours
Days: Monday-Friday. Occasional weekend work

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General Haulage delivering products to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
• Driver must strap own load and ensure it is ready for transport
• Hauling products to various locations across South-East/South-west UK
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information, and report any defect
• Driver must be hands on with an average of 2-5 drops per shift

Requirements:

• Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
• CPC Card
• Digi Card
• Held Class 1 licence for 2 years
