Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Class 1 Nights driver for its client in Normanton, West Yorkshire. This full-time, temporary position runs long-term for suitable candidates, with pay between £19.19 and £26.11 per hour, rising by £1 during December; overtime applies after 45 hours. Night shifts begin between 13:00 and 21:00, and every rota includes a weekend day, so flexibility is essential. Duties cover delivering to regional distribution centres and stores, unloading via tail lift and cages, plus routine vehicle checks. Applicants need a held C+E licence for at least six months, a can-do attitude, and no DR10, CD10 or IN10 endorsements. Manual handling of cages forms part of the daily work. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates. Any shift to include a weekend day. This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.
Responsibilities
- Delivering to RDCs and stores.
- Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
- Vehicle checks Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.
