Rapier Employment are currently seeking Van Drivers for our busy client based in The Manchester Region for ongoing work with an immediate start. For this role youwill need a Full UK Manual drivers licence, preferably clean but up to 6 points accepted Rates of Pay: Standard Rate – £13.37ph Hours: Working any 5 out of 7 days 8am 3pm / 2pm 8pm Must be flexible DBS Check will be carried out prior to starting. Job Role: You’ll start your day for an hour or so in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route, before completing a shift of multi-drop parcel delivery (up to 60 drops per day) using vehicles up to transit size. You will be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next. About You: Upbeat and self-motivated, you’ll be as happy working alone as you will be working as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.
