Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Reading.

Position: Class 1 Driver

Days: Site operate 24/7 - weekday and weekend

Pay: £20.21 - £29.43 per hour

Times: Start times between 12:00 - 16:00

Days: Saturday and Sunday is a must with 3 other days in the week - 5 days available if both weekend days are covered. If looking for 1-2 days, reach out as we could have some adhoc shifts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Trunking to a variety of distribution centres across the country
  • Guaranteed 8 hours a shift
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues
  • Weekend and weekday work available

Requirements:

  • Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Held licence for 6 months (category C+E)
