Warehouse Operative - Magna Park, Lutterworth LE17
We have an excellent opportunity for Warehouse Operatives to join one of the UK's leading logistics companies based at Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17).
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term employment with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidates.
You will be working in a busy warehouse environment using Powered Pallet Trucks (PPTs) and handling chilled supermarket products for some of the UK's leading brands.
Full PPT training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate PPTs to load and unload vehicles.
- Work within a chilled warehouse environment.
- Move pallets of fresh chilled produce for supermarket distribution.
- Use handheld scanners for inventory management and stock tracking.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
- Handball products and break down pallets when necessary, which may involve heavy lifting.
What We're Looking For
- strong warehouse experience
- basic understanding of warehouse operations
- previous experience in chilled environments
- Ability to pass an on site drug and alcohol test (breathalyser and mouth swab).
- Physically fit and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong and stable work history.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Not suitable for students or individuals seeking part-time work.
- Must live locally or have reliable transport to Magna Park, Lutterworth (LE17).
- Previous PPT experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
