Fantastic opportunity to be part of my logistics clients team as a Class 1 Driver on days for regular ongoing and ad hoc work out of their depot at Tuxford. Work always booked a week in advance. NO TIMED DELIVERIES! This job does not involve any intensive handballing etc. It is purely checking your loads and driving. They offer probably the best and most comprehensive one to one induction processes in the industry which lasts a full week and is fully paid. Your first week would be: Day 1- Site tour, product knowledge, Driving Assessment, Hazard perception, Client process and procedures, paperwork etc. Day 2-5- Doing the actual job but with the trainer to ensure you have full understanding of what is required and how it all works. The work involves collecting from their client locations, and delivering to their other business locations in the South East and South West of the UK pulling a curtain sided trailer. Fantastic friendly working environment. All new trucks with all up to date technology and equipment. Day shift starts from 04.00hrs onwards to suit. Five day working week Monday to Friday with some weekends or days as required or to fit with your availability. Weekday part time also available. The ability to be flexible is key to this role….
