We are recruiting a Regional Driver Assessor to join an exciting newly established assessment team supporting drivers across the South Region. About The Role
As a Regional Driver Assessor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, competence and professionalism of our commercial drivers. You'll conduct practical driving assessments for:
- New Driver Recruitment
- Post-Accident Reviews
- Ongoing Driver Competency Assessments
- Refresher and Development Assessments
Working across our Southern depot network, you'll assess drivers operating a diverse fleet including:
- 450 Vans
- 80 Rigid Vehicles
- 120 Articulated Vehicles
Assessments may involve practical manoeuvring exercises in depot yards, on-road driving assessments and driver coaching sessions.
Your Region
You can be based at any of the following depots: Haverhill (CB9 7FD), Slough (SL1 4RY), Dartford (DA1 5XS), Bedford (MK43 9SS). Travel across these locations will be a regular part of the role, although you'll have complete ownership of your diary and schedule. When not conducting assessments, you can work from home, a depot office, or any suitable remote working location.

Ideally You'll Have:
- C+E (Class 1) Licence (preferred)
- Experience within commercial driving operations
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Good organisational ability
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Outlook
- A commitment to improving driver safety and performance
