My well-known distribution client is looking for experienced 7.5t multi-drop delivery drivers in Worksop to start ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 7.5 tonne delivery driver to work at a new site location. Great friendly working environment. Temp to Perm Opportunities.
Drivers must have a good level and understanding of English as there will be customer contact both prior to and at the delivery. Please note that it is essential that applicants have experience of driving a 7.5T vehicle and use of CPC.
Duties:- Delivering all different kinds of products (kitchen appliances, furniture, etc.) to people's homes.
- Loading and unloading vehicles in an organised and methodical manner.
- Able to complete between 30-40 drops daily.
- Communicating with customers.
- Working as part of a two-man team.
- Meeting deadlines and timekeeping.
- Working within the health and safety guidelines.
- 7.5 tonne Licence (no more than 3 points).
- Digital Tachograph driver cards.
- An in-date and valid CPC qualification.
- Able to work in a professional and polite manner.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role will be advantageous.
- Physically fit and able to lift.
- Use of sat nav.
