We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various trades. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and machinery, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Skilled Labourer will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
  • Assist in various construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, and roofing
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, and masonry work as needed
  • Engage in concrete forming, finishing, and restoration projects
  • Execute trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and flooring installation
  • Conduct construction painting and plastering tasks
  • Participate in heavy equipment operation when required
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction or related fields
  • Knowledge of construction management practices
  • Familiarity with construction inspection processes
  • Strong skills in carpentry, welding, glass installation, tile laying, hardscape, caulking, and stucco application
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
  • Full driving licence
  • Minimum 10 years experience
