Location: Peterborough (with UK & International Travel Required)

Lead and develop facilities operations across Rapidrop's global sites. Rapidrop is a UK-based manufacturer of fire sprinkler and suppression system components, supplying customers in over 75 countries worldwide. Our products help protect some of the world's most recognisable developments, including The Shard, Wembley Stadium, Heathrow Terminal 5, Reykjavik Opera House and Etihad Towers in Dubai. As we continue our growth, we are looking for a Group Facilities Manager to oversee facilities operations across our global locations and support the ongoing development of our operational infrastructure.

The Role

This is a key role responsible for ensuring our facilities, workplace services and operational environments are maintained to the highest standards across the business. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee facilities operations across Rapidrop's global sites, including Peterborough, Leeds, UAE operations and third-party locations
  • Manage maintenance programmes, workplace services and site standards across all locations
  • Lead supplier, contractor and service provider relationships to ensure effective service delivery
  • Support health and safety, security, compliance and environmental initiatives across the business
  • Oversee company fleet operations, including cars and vans
  • Manage workplace services including waste management, hygiene, housekeeping and site infrastructure
  • Lead facilities-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with operational, warehouse and IT teams to support business requirements

The role will involve occasional travel across the UK and internationally to support facilities operations and projects.

About You

We are looking for an experienced facilities professional who enjoys managing multiple sites, driving operational improvements and maintaining high workplace standards. We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience within facilities management, operations or multi-site facilities environments
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance, compliance and workplace services management
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and external service providers
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Experience supporting health and safety compliance within operational environments
  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, industrial or distribution environments would be advantageous
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications would also be desirable.
