We are looking for a proactive, coachable, and results-oriented Business Development Representative based in the United Kingdom to help generate new sales opportunities for Rapid4Cloud. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, comfortable with outbound outreach, and motivated by opening doors with Oracle Fusion Cloud prospects, partners, and service providers.
What You Will Do
- Prospect and build pipeline across Oracle customers, systems integrators, and managed service providers in the UK/EMEA market.
- Conduct outbound outreach through email, social media etc. to identify qualified opportunities.
- Research target accounts and personalize messaging based on business needs, Oracle footprint, and likely use cases.
- Book discovery calls, demos, and meetings for the sales team.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using agreed criteria and maintain accurate records in the CRM.
- Follow up consistently on aged opportunities, prior outreach sequences, webinar leads, and event contacts.
- Work closely with marketing to activate campaigns, nurture leads, and improve conversion from interest to meeting.
- Share market feedback, objections, and customer pain points to help refine messaging and campaigns.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, lead generation, or a similar outbound role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak professionally to business and technology stakeholders.
- Confidence in prospecting, cold outreach, and initiating conversations with senior decision-makers.
- Highly organized, self-managed, and comfortable working remotely.
- Ability to learn technical value propositions and explain them in clear business terms.
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools is preferred.
- Prior exposure to enterprise software, SaaS, ERP, Oracle, consulting, or technology services is a plus.
