We’re looking for a HR & Culture Administrator to be the heart of our team culture. This role blends HR administration, employee support, and wellbeing initiatives with a touch of operational admin support for directors.

The Role

As HR & Culture Administrator, you’ll make sure our people feel supported, engaged, and valued. You’ll be responsible for HR administration, wellbeing check-ins, culture initiatives, and keeping our policies and processes running smoothly. You’ll also play a key role in onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

Daily

  • Monitor and log sickness notifications, holidays, and staff updates on our internal systems
  • Ensure staff are logged into phone systems and are operational.
  • Respond to employee queries (HR admin, wellbeing, general support).
  • Monitor internal comms (Teams/Slack/email) for support needs or issues.
  • Review and escalate items on the issues log as required.

Weekly

  • Conduct wellbeing check-ins with employees.
  • Track HR data (sickness, holidays, absence) for payroll.
  • Draft and share internal comms (announcements, reminders, shoutouts).
  • Monitor probation reviews and band reviews, scheduling meetings when due.
  • Follow up on training and incident-related documentation.

Monthly

  • Run and review HR KPIs (sickness rates, staff turnover, phones, recruitment progress).
  • Coordinate culture initiatives (Star of the Month, office treats, engagement activities).
  • Prepare HR updates or reports for directors.
  • Support payroll liaison with HR-related changes.
  • Update HR policies in line with legislation or best practice.

Quarterly

  • Organise team-building events and wellbeing activities.
  • Support planning and delivery of company-wide events (Christmas party, staff days).
  • Review training needs and coordinate external training as required.
  • Conduct wellbeing 1:1s.
  • Manage on-call and weekend rotas.

As Required

  • Support recruitment: screening CVs, booking interviews, and sending confirmations.
  • Add events and details onto Flightpath
  • Manage onboarding, contracts, HR letters, and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate disciplinaries, performance reviews, redundancies, and legal HR processes.
  • Assist directors with admin tasks (meeting bookings, letters, research).
  • Order gifts, cards, and milestone recognition items.
  • Research and recommend well-being and culture initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in HR administration and employee support.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • A strong communicator who builds trust and rapport with staff at all levels.
  • Confident with HR systems (e.g., Bright HR) and general office software (MS Office, Teams, Slack).
  • Passionate about people, wellbeing, and creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Driving License
