Rapid Time Recruit Limited acting as an Employment Business is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client in Bamber Bridge - Preston across days, nights, weekends and tramping. This is on a full week basis with the possibility for full-time employment. Driver will need to complete a paid induction and driving assessment prior to starting work.
Role of a Class 1 C+E night driver:
- General haulage deliveries to specified destinations
- Start times DAYS 05:00 - 08:00 NIGHTS 17:00 – 19:00
- Monday – Friday shift pattern
- Average 12-hour shifts
Class 1 C+E HGV night drivers will require:
- Valid UK HGV licence (C+E) for 2 years or more
- Minimum 12-month previous HGV driving experience
- Digital tachograph card CPC card
- Always be professional and presentable
- Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances
- Must not hold any more than 6 points on your license
- No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10 or TT99
PAYE rates are:
- DAYS £16.00 Plus holiday accrual or £17.93 Including Holiday accrual
- NIGHTS £17.00 Plus holiday accrual or £19.05 Including Holiday accrual
- SAT £18.00 Plus holiday accrual or £20.17 Including Holiday accrual
- SUN £19.50 Plus holiday accrual or £21.85 Including Holiday accrual
- Min 8 hours paid OVERTIME AFTER 9 HOURS (weekdays)
- DAYS £18.00 Plus holiday accrual or £20.17 Including Holiday accrual
- NIGHTS £19.50 Plus holiday accrual or £21.85 Including Holiday accrual
