About ATL
ATL is a well-established shopfitting and installation company based in Rochester, Kent, delivering nationwide retail, commercial and refurbishment projects.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Operative to join our busy warehouse team.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will play an important role in ensuring materials, tools and equipment are received, stored, prepared and dispatched accurately to support projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards and wants to become part of a friendly and professional team.
The Role
Working within our warehouse, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation and ensuring materials are available for installation teams when required.
- Hours
- 8am-4pm Monday to Thursday
- 8am-3pm Friday
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and accurately book in deliveries.
Pick, pack and prepare tools, materials and equipment for nationwide installation projects.
Load and unload company and courier vehicles safely and efficiently.
Ensure customer orders and project equipment are prepared accurately and on time.
Maintain accurate stock records and report shortages or damaged items to the Warehouse Manager.
Assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
Keep warehouse shelving, storage areas and stock locations organised and clearly labelled.
Prepare project kits to meet installation schedules and client requirements.
Carry out routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance requirements.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times.
Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
Support the Warehouse Manager with general warehouse duties as required.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Essential
- Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good level of physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual handling duties.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within the shopfitting, construction, engineering or installation sectors.
- Experience using warehouse management or stock control systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Truck Licence (training may be provided for the right candidate).
