Location

You will spend 4 nights in one store: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

Brief Overview

Working in teams you will be required to install the shelf labelling system.

You must remove the produce trays from the shelves; drill holes to fit the new labelling system onto the shelves; return the produce in the same place.

You must have a mobile to capture images of the products to ensure they are placed back into the correct area.

  • Project Overview

This is a hands‑on role suited to candidates with experience in retail installations, shopfitting, merchandising, fixture fitting, retail rollouts, or field engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and replacement of retail display technology and associated equipment
  • Installing brackets, rails, fixings, and associated equipment onto counters and shelving
  • Competent use of hand and power tools including drills, screwdrivers, and measuring equipment
  • Working alongside a Site Lead and wider installation team
  • Ensuring all work is completed to client specification
  • Carrying out basic fault identification and reporting issues where required
  • Following site health & safety procedures at all times
  • Maintaining professional standards whilst working in live retail environments
  • Completing works within agreed project timelines

Requirements

  • Previous retail installation, merchandising, shopfitting, fixture fitting, or field engineering experience preferred
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and confidently
  • Ability to drill and install fixings onto counters, fixtures, and shelving
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work overnight shifts
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required
  • Ability to travel to regional sites where required

You must be prepared to commit to the days scheduled.

Depending on your areas will depend on how many blocks of 4 days you will receive.

The project will run from mid September until end of November.

Training will be given online and with supporting documentation.

Rate of Pay

£195.00 per shift inclusive of 200 miles roundtrip travel.
