Do you have experience assessing vehicle damage repairs? Due to continued expansion, Rapid Repair Network Limited is looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical understanding of vehicle repairs, damage assessment, and estimating processes who is looking to join a supportive, fast-paced business with genuine opportunities for progression.

About the Role:

  • As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key role in ensuring repairs are assessed accurately, consistently, and in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Working from vehicle images and repair information, you will use your technical expertise and sound judgement to assess damage, prepare repair methods and estimates, and support repair quality, cost control, efficient repair processes, and invoicing.
  • This is a desktop role where consistency, attention to detail, and technical knowledge are equally important.
  • You will work closely with operations and the wider engineering teams in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess vehicle damage from images in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Prepare accurate repair methods and estimates using recognised estimating systems and repair matrices.
  • Review repair processes to ensure quality, compliance, and correct procedures are followed.
  • Work closely with production and operational teams to support efficient repair delivery.
  • Liaise with internal teams on technical, quality, and process queries.
  • Ensure compliance with required industry platforms and procedures.
  • Support invoice query resolution using accurate repair and estimating information.
  • Promote best practice, technical standards, and consistent decision-making across the business.
  • Provide technical support across wider engineering functions when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in automotive accident repair, estimating, vehicle damage assessment, vehicle repairs, or a similar technical role.
  • Confidence using recognised automotive estimating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a consistent, quality-focused approach to decision-making.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to high service standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
