We are partnering with a well-regarded law practice seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 1â2 years' PQE to develop a broad and stimulating caseload across both contentious and nonâcontentious employment law matters. The successful candidate will work with a range of clients, providing strategic and commercially sound advice across a variety of employmentârelated issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of contentious and nonâcontentious employment matters.
- Advise on disciplinary, grievance, and sickness absence procedures.
- Provide TUPE advice and assist with drafting and reviewing documentation.
- Handle Employment Tribunal litigation, including advocacy where appropriate.
- Draft and negotiate Settlement Agreements on behalf of employers and employees.
- Advise on industrial relations and matters relating to strike action.
- Support clients through restructures, redundancies, and due diligence on projects with a peopleârelated focus.
- Deliver client training sessions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support partners on complex and highâprofile matters.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and help strengthen client relationships.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1â2 years' PQE in Employment Law.
- Demonstrates strong technical ability and a solid understanding of employment legislation.
- Commercially minded with the ability to deliver pragmatic and solutionâfocused advice.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters efficiently.
