Contract Length: 3 Months (Immediate Start Preferred)

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to support their finance team on a short-term contract. This role will primarily focus on bank reconciliations and assisting with day-to-day finance tasks during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and unreconciled items
  • Post and allocate cash transactions accurately
  • Assist with processing payments and receipts
  • Support the finance team with general accounts administration
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role
  • Strong experience completing bank reconciliations is essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice
