Role Overview:
This role is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of a client portfolio and develop their technical and client-facing skills. You’ll be mentored by a Senior Manager and supported in progressing into a more senior client management role within the next three years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients
- Prepare statutory accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax computations
- Assist with personal tax returns and day-to-day client queries
- Liaise with HMRC and other regulatory bodies
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff where appropriate
Candidate Requirements:
- Part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent)
- 2-3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Competent in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS
- Ambitious and eager to grow into a senior position
