About the Role: We are partnering with a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice that provides a full range of services to individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Known for their commitment to excellent client service and long-term relationships, this growing firm is now looking to hire a proactive and organised Administrator to support their day-to-day operations and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to partners, accountants, and the wider team
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain and update client records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Handle document preparation, scanning, filing, and archiving (both digital and physical)
  • Support client onboarding, including AML checks and collecting KYC documentation
  • Assist with diary management, meeting scheduling, and appointment coordination
  • Liaise with clients on document submissions and deadline reminders
  • Track key deadlines for tax returns, Companies House filings, and submissions
  • Draft letters, invoices, and engagement letters using established templates
  • Order office supplies and liaise with service providers
  • Perform general administrative tasks to ensure a compliant and efficient office environment

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Prior experience in an administrative role, ideally within accountancy or professional services
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Professional and discreet when handling confidential information
