About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manage r to manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients.
This is a senior practice role with responsibility for client relationships, technical review, team management, workflow coordination, corporation tax compliance and billing.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Partners and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
Our Client an Accountancy Firm is a partner-led firm providing audit, tax, transaction and advisory services to entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the main point of contact.
- Review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members.
- Coordinate workflow and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
- Resolve technical accounting and tax matters.
- Monitor WIP, recoverability and oversee billing.
- Support Partners in maintaining excellent client service standards.
- Candidate Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Strong UK practice background.
- Proven management experience, including staff supervision and workflow management.
- Experience reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.
- Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills.
