Rapid Recruit are seeking a dedicated FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team based in Burnley. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks and supporting a variety of warehouse duties to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. This is a full-time ongoing position, working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm. The rate of pay ranges from £13.11 to £13.91 per hour, dependant on FLT licences.
Duties Include:
- Safely operating forklift trucks to load, unload and move goods within the warehouse
- Assisting with stock management using warehouse management systems
- Handling materials carefully and ensuring correct storage and stacking procedures
- Supporting shipping and receiving activities, including preparing goods for dispatch
- Carrying out basic maintenance and safety checks on FLT equipment
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
- Supporting general warehouse duties, including order picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT licences including Counterbalance, Reach or VNA
- Minimum 6 months experience operating forklift trucks safely
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Strong materials handling skills, including loading and unloading
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
