Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver in Leeds

FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative Steeton Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm £33,000 Rapid Recruit are currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative on a full-time, permanent basis to join our clients team in Steeton. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment where you will be responsible for forklift operations, stock control, goods inwards, dispatch activities, material handling and warehouse support. You will play a key role in ensuring materials, components and finished goods move efficiently throughout the business. Key Responsibilities: Operating Pivot Steer and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently. Receiving deliveries and locating stock correctly within the warehouse. Supplying materials and stock to production areas as required. Recording all stock movements accurately on the company system. Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring physical stock matches system records. Supporting goods inwards and outbound deliveries. Maintaining warehouse organisation, housekeeping and safety standards. Following company quality procedures, waste management and recycling processes. Assisting with stock checks and stock takes. Supporting general warehouse and production-related activities as required. Requirements: Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment. Valid Pivot Steer and Counterbalance FLT licences (essential). Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to respond to changing business demands. Reliable team player with a strong work ethic. Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
