Rapid Recruit are on the look-out for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Bacup. The successful candidate will be working within a small team, where they will be responsible for collecting Domestic and Commercial Waste in and around the local areas. Key Responsibilities * Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect domestic and commercial waste from designated locations * Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to road safety regulations and company guidelines * Work closely with a small team to complete waste collection routes on schedule * Assist with loading and unloading waste bins or containers when required * Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate route changes or address issues * Ensure all waste collection activities follow environmental and safety standards. Qualifications Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must be happy to work in all weathers and be flexible as they may be required to work as a Loader when necessary. A CPC card, a tachograph card, and a valid and in-date licence are essential for this role.
