Rapid Recruit are looking for an experienced Financial Controller on behalf of our client in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the team as a Financial Controller. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial management, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company.

* Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and controls.

* Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports and forecasts.

* Monitor cash flow, budgeting and financial planning.

* Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

* Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.

* Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

* Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements:

* Qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* Proven work experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

* Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Financial management experience is a plus.
