Mon-Thurs 9am-5pm, Fri 8am-4pm

£27k – £30k DOE

Rapid Recruit are currently looking for a creative, self-motivated Designer on behalf of our client in Burnley. This is a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will be a key part of the Teamwear design and operating model, helping to turn customer’s design ideas into reality as well as creating your own unique designs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting the customer with their bespoke Teamwear design requirements.

* Work in conjunction with the Commercial, Customer Operations and Supply Operations teams in delivering Made to Order teamwear and creating artwork for our Kitbuilder Teamwear customers.

* Create multisport specific CAD artwork which follow specific customer briefs and brand guidelines.

* Manage technical design details between business expectations and customer demand.

* Creating new seasonal sublimated design options, ensuring proposed designs are fit for manufacture.

* Leading the design process for Key customers and account.

* Liaising with factories in the UK and overseas for artwork approval and product development.

* Creating design binders to showcase a range of potential design options to customers including bespoke and stock options.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

* Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe PDF.

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, word and excel.

* Work to and design in line with seasonal critical paths.

* Experience in Graphic print design.

Professional Skills:

* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.

* Strong written communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

* Proactive problem-solving approach.

* Interest in digital platforms and willingness to learn further technical skills.

Desirable Experience:

* Fashion Design Degree or alternatively a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role

* Previous experience in the Teamwear market.
