Rapid Recruit are currently looking for a Material Resource Planning Controller to join our clientβs team in Burnley. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day functions of the purchasing department, specifically in relation to raw material film and indirects requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- The placing and expediting of POs to ensure all business needs are met.
- Communicate likely problems to relevant departments/personnel so as not to adversely affect business needs.
- To update the Purchasing Manager of any potential issues with OTIF, deliveries, or supplier relations.
- Ensure POs are attributed to the correct stock or consignment category.
- Handle any queries relating to POs placed.
- Chase up any missing paperwork as required within the purchasing function.
- File paperwork as required within the purchasing function regularly and in a timely manner.
- Ensure the purchasing processes are always followed.
- Liaise closely with and understand the requirements of all key personnel/departments.
- Maintain and use any relevant purchasing reports.
- Always complete all duties to a high standard, in line with business objectives.
