We’re looking for an ambitious and results-driven Media specialist to join the highly successful team behind British Plastics & Rubber (BP&R) and Interplas Insights – the UK’s leading publishing platforms for the plastics sector.
In this pivotal role, you will own the growth and transformation of our digital advertising, content marketing, and lead generation revenues. Backed by nearly 50 years of editorial credibility and a uniquely engaged audience of engineers, buyers, decision-makers, and OEMs across the plastics supply chain, you’ll have the tools, brand equity, and freedom to make a real impact.
Ideally, you’re a B2B digital media sales expert who thrives in a content-rich, innovation-led environment—and you\’re ready to shape the commercial direction of a high-potential digital brand—this is your opportunity.
Take ownership of digital and magazine targets across our content platforms, including website advertising, native content, gated assets, e-blasts, and webinars.
- Maintain and grow key client relationships, supporting a strategic transition from traditional print campaigns into integrated digital solutions.
- Collaborate with our editorial and marketing teams to package, position and deliver cross-channel media plans.
- Develop commercial opportunities across both BP&R magazine and the Interplas Insights digital ecosystem, focusing on delivering measurable results for clients.
- Actively prospect for new business across relevant verticals.
- Educate and advise clients on the digital options available and how our platforms can meet their objectives—from thought leadership to lead generation.
- Represent our brand at trade shows, events, and client meetings—both in the UK and occasionally abroad.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in B2B digital media sales—ideally within publishing, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing solutions including display, native, email marketing, webinars, and lead generation.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed targets and grow client accounts through consultative selling.
- Comfortable creating and delivering compelling digital proposals and media plans.
- Strategic thinker with a commercial mindset, who thrives in a dynamic, results-led environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, media performance analytics, and industry-standard platforms.
