2. Job Description
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Director, Rapid International Ltd
Phase 1 (6 months): Company HQ Tandragee, Northern Ireland
Phase 2 (12-18 months): In-market placement Germany
Salary: Competitive graduate salary (in line with Invest NI guidelines), with relocation support and travel allowance.
3. Role Purpose
To support the expansion of Rapid International Ltd's dealer network and customer base in DACH region by identifying and developing market opportunities, sales opportunities, building strong relationships, and promoting the company's range of mixing technology and mixing solutions.
4. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-market research and competitor analysis to identify sales opportunities.
- Understand local legislation especially around construction material use, recycling and land remediation.
- Identify and discuss with in-market specifiers and geo-technical engineering consulting companies on best practice and future targets.
- Build relationships with prospective customers.
- Identify and establish a suitable dealer network in DACH region.
- Support existing customer relationships and act as a liaison between HQ and local clients.
- Attend relevant trade shows and networking events in Germany and the wider DACH region.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients and industry influencers.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to refine products and marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activity, and customer feedback.
5. Essential Criteria
- Recently graduated (within past 5 years) with a degree in Business, International Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Germany for the duration of the placement.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, international business, or export markets.
- Valid UK/Irish/EU passport or visa that permits work and travel within Germany.
- Pre-existing legal status to live and work in Northern Ireland.
6. Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience (e.g., placement, internship, or part-time work) in a B2B sales or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of the construction or manufacturing sector.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

- Induction and export sales training at company HQ.
