Role Objective:Kenect Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a experienced Machine Operator (4 day week) based in Carryduff. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to support efficient and high-quality production processes.
Responsibilities
- Concrete product manufacturing.
- Operate a variety of machinery and systems safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine performance and identify any issues affecting output or quality.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and assist with repairs.
- Support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company procedures.
- Accurately record production figures and machine data.
- Work collaboratively with team members to optimise production processes.
- Prepare machinery for incoming shifts and report any concerns during clean-down.
- Follow all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) policies and report issues using internal systems.
- Carry out HSEQ checks and ensure risks are identified and controlled.
- Maintain quality standards across the production process with clear documentation.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organised at all times.
- Carry out any other duties in line with the role and capabilities.
