Rapid Fit are the Maxus aftersales warranty and service centre for East Anglia. Due to the expansion of the Maxus brand we are seeking an additional experienced Workshop Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out repairs, maintenance, and servicing to a high standard, ensuring equipment and vehicles are safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Identify faults and recommend effective solutions
  • Keep accurate records of work completed
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a workshop mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
  • Full driving licence preferred (no more than 6 points)
