Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a budding yard operative, with the potential to progress into a trainee engineer role. You will work alongside experienced professionals who are ready to share their expertise and support your development within the HVAC industry.

As a Kent Yard Operative, you will be based at our Sheerness depot, supporting engineers with the servicing and maintenance of our commercial boiler fleet, both in the depot and occasionally on client sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the depot
  • Manage spare parts and conduct stock checks
  • Maintain the workshop area
  • Open and secure the depot daily
  • Assist engineers with the maintenance and servicing of our equipment
  • Travel with engineers to assist with on-site installations and servicing

Candidate Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Reside within 30 minutes of Sheerness
  • Flexible and available for emergency callouts outside of standard hours
  • Willingness to occasionally stay away for work
  • Motivated, driven, and eager to learn
  • Forklift experience (training can be provided)
  • DBS check required upon successful application
  • Ability to handle physically and mentally demanding tasks
