Purpose of the Role
The Operations and Inventory Specialist plays a key role within the Operations Management Team by providing governance and strategic oversight of all inventory control processes across the WMS and Epicor. Ensuring stock accuracy, system integrity, and process efficiency, enabling strong OTIF performance and a consistent, reliable customer experience. Through cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement, and expert system knowledge, the Operations and Inventory Specialist ensures that inventory practices support operational excellence and Rapid’s wider business objectives.
Key Accountability
- Responsible for ensuring stock accuracy between both Epicor and WMS systems by owning (and improving) processes.
- The Operations and Inventory Specialist also plays a key part in system management, liaising with both Rapid IT and Balloon One via online ticketing to raise any issues reported with either host system.
